It’s Day 2 here in the Pinnacle Cup II Group Stage and that means a couple more teams will be bagging their slots into the Swiss Stage starting this week! Let’s see how the matches went!

Sangal 16-6 AGF
The first match of the day started out with a bang as the Turkish side of Sangal took on the Danes of AGF and were able to blow them out of the water in what was a confident match. Players like S3NSEY were having incredible matches, picking up clutches every other round, and AGF could barely get started or keep up with this energy, hence Sangal taking a confident win. paz secured the MVP award for this series as he gathered a 102.0 ADR to finish the match.

Young Ninjas 16-12 VP.Prodigy
This match was much closer than anticipated as the score went right into the 28th round before it was wrapped up. This time, it was the Swedish side of Young Ninjas who were able to defeat the youth team of Virtus.pro in a 16-12 match. Sapec was on fine form during this map too, as he ended the match with an impressive 111.2 ADR.

Sangal 1-2 Young Ninjas
This was such an incredibly close match that was neck and neck all the way through the series, and was only decided in the third map by a stretch of overtime that saw the Swedish side of Young Ninjas take the victory over the Turks of Sangal as they closed out the last map 19-17. nilo was the one to edge out the rest of his team as he picked up some good stats along the way, but after a tough match, the Ninjas were just happy to get the win.

1WIN 19-17 Chetz
After what was a very intense first opening game of this group, 1WIN was able to take the victory against Chetz in the Best of 1 after a bit of an overtime drama that saw them finally seal the deal with a 19-17 result. It was expected that the win would be much easier for 1WIN, but Chetz put up a great fight. deko claimed the MVP award after getting an overall 31 kills on the map.

100PG 16-11 KOVA
Unlike the previous Best of 1, this one ended much sooner than an overtime debate as the Kazakhstani side of 100PG were able to shut off the Finns of KOVA by getting a 16-11 result on the only map that was played – Inferno. icem4n was the one to lead the way for his team as he picked up 24 kills during the match, and ended the series with a 93.7 ADR.

1WIN 1-2 100PG
This series went on for so long that it was deep into the night before the winner was finally crowned, and what a battle it was. The first map ended somewhat normally, with a 16-9 result in the favor of 1WIN, but from there 100PG were able to turn the game in their favor, getting a close 19-17 win on Dust2 to take it to the third map where they were able to bag the win with a 16-10 victory. w1nt3r picked up 70 kills during this match to be the MVP of the series.
